Southwest Airlines, Austin Texas

Austin’s airport is no stranger to growth. Now Southwest is upping the game with a lineup of new nonstop flights and exact numbers that make travel decisions easier.

New Daily Flights

  • Reno (RNO): One daily nonstop, seasonal, starting March 6, 2025

  • Milwaukee (MKE): One daily nonstop, year-round, also starting March 6

  • San Francisco (SFO): One daily nonstop, year-round, beginning August 5, 2025

Six-Day-a-Week Jacksonville

On October 2, 2025, Jacksonville enters the schedule with six weekly flights, every day except Saturday.

Weekend Palm Springs Getaway

Spring 2026 brings Palm Springs nonstop weekends with two flights per weekend, one Saturday and one Sunday, through April 6.

Record-Breaking October 2025

Austin-Bergstrom will see 128 nonstop departures daily. That will be Southwest’s busiest month in Austin history.

Why It Matters for Austinites

For Westlake executives, Lakeway families, or Bee Cave creatives, these flights mean more freedom: fewer connections, shorter travel days, and direct access to the destinations that fit your lifestyle.

If you are considering how Austin’s growth in the skies and on the ground impacts your neighborhood and your home value, I’d love to connect.
