CelebrASIA is an annual festival that celebrates Asian Pacific American (APA) Heritage Month and is hosted by the City of Austin’s Asian American Resource Center (AARC). This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event. The festival is free and open to the public and features food vendors, exhibits, cultural experiences, and performances by groups such as the Austin Japanese Minyo Group and the Heavenly Dragon Lion Dance Association. Cultural experience rooms will be hosted by organizations like the Vietnamese American Community of Austin Texas and the Korean American Association of Greater Austin. CelebrASIA commemorates the AARC’s 10 years of community and cultural engagement, and the center’s mission is to create a space of longing and healing for Asian American communities in Austin and beyond.
