The 3M Half Marathon features the downhill to downtown course. It is a fast and fun race fueled by live music and cheering fans in the heart of Texas. Avid runners PR and newcomers finish with style as they pass the finish line and are greeted with a lively downtown festival.

Participate in the Austin-area MLK Day celebrations with The Austin Area Heritage Council. There will be a rally, a march, and a festival to uplift diversity and multiculturalism in the city. All businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals are invited to march and celebrate Dr. King’s legacy.

ZACH Theatre presents Cinderella

In partnership with Deaf Austin Theatre and performed in English and American Sign Language, Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella showcases some of your favorite tunes, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible,” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” in this funny, modern adaptation.

The leisurely-paced 5K starts at 6 pm at the Fleet Feet running store next to the H-E-B at Gattis School & Red Bud. The route goes through the nearby Forest Creek neighborhoods. It’s free to participate, and you can just show up – no registration necessary! Kids and dogs are welcome!
